“Local Member” vs. “National Member”. The local chapter of the SCTE, the Cascade Range Chapter, has what we refer to as “local members”. These folks are both National SCTE members who are affiliated with the Cascade Range Chapter as their home chapter, as well as SCTE members and non-members who attend our local meetings and vendor shows. We refer to both groups as our “local members” and we communicate with them via our mailing list for chapter-related correspondence. We do not charge any “local chapter membership” dues per se, but do offer a discounted attendance fee at meetings and vendor shows. Read on to learn how to become a National SCTE member. When you sign up, please note the Cascade Range Chapter as your home chapter so we can then also call you a “local member”.
